JKassa is the follow-up product of the KASSA teller application that has been successfully used for several years. JKassa combines the proven and comprehensive business functions of KASSA with modern JAVA technology. As a result, the client can be loaded from the application server / Web server through an Internet browser, avoiding the costly distribution of software. Moreover, Java provides access to various server platforms thanks to its platform independence. It is also possible to use JKassa in a terminal server environment and on Ultra Thin Client systems.

Functions

JKassa is a dialog-based application for the processing of counter/teller transactions in banks. The application enables banks to process transactions (cash, cashless, and check) relating to savings, current accounts, foreign notes and coins, coins/medals/bars, and foreign exchange. In case of an online connection to the booking system, the transactions will be immediately arranged/booked. If the system is offline, most transactions can also be completed (and stored) decentrally and transferred (forwarded) to the booking system at a later stage (post-booking).

Several business transactions and functions such as automatic post-booking of offline transactions, various lists and queries provide optimal support for the employees at the teller. The program also offers additional functions for the direct control of automatic teller safes (cash dispensers) for payments or deposits. Interfaces to signature verification systems and assisted self-service systems offer further functionality for the teller.
